Quebec Selected Skilled Workers<\/h1>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Quebec is Canada’s largest province in terms of surface, and second in terms of population, with the majority of the population residing in the Greater Montreal Area.\u00a0As Canada’s Francophone province, French-speaking candidates will fare better and bilinguals who have a high proficiency in both English and French will have the best chance of being invited.<\/p>

The province of Quebec has diverse sources of income, including natural resources, information technology, aerospace technology and pharmaceutical development. This makes finding employment in Quebec relatively easy, thanks to its variety of options.\u00a0<\/p>

A special agreement between the Canadian government and the province of Quebec led to Quebec’s Selected Skilled Workers program. The province of Quebec has some special caveats and addendum to its needs and requirements so it created this special program. It is meant to appeal to the most skilled candidates who have the right skills as well as knowledge of the province’s history and culture.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

To enter the Quebec’s selection process you will need to make a separate application. The requirements of this special selection process are based on the specific needs of the province of Quebec at any given time, and as streams of new immigrants arrive and settle, the province’s needs \u2013 and with it the program’s requirements \u2013 can change.<\/p>

In order to apply for this program, a candidate will have to research the current requirements and ensure their immigration profile will offer the province what it’s looking for.<\/p>

When this application has been approved, the candidate receives a Certificate of Quebec Selection, which they can then add to their immigration profile for a final review by the CIC.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
